EA’s new Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a reboot of the 2005 game of the same title. It shares many features with its predecessor, including a Blacklist of racers and cop chases. The game has an open-world environment; for example, the players can choose their own routes from start to finish during races, and there are supercars hidden in secret locations around the city to discover.

The multiplayer aspect of the game is also updated. Autolog 2 leaderboards compare your achievements in both single player and multiplayer modes. Perhaps the most interesting addition is the CloudCompete system, which lets you switch between different platforms without losing your progress in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

007 Legends is a multiplatform action-adventure game which combines stories from 6 James Bond movies starting with Moonraker (1979) and ending with the upcoming Skyfall (2012). The storylines from older movies are adapted to a modern-day setting, and James Bond is voiced by Daniel Craig throughout the game.

This isn’t the first James Bond game from Eurocom developers. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, which released for Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms last year, received mostly positive reviews from the critics. Similarly to GoldenEye 007, 007 Legends includes MI6 Ops missions in addition to its main campaign. A multiplayer mode is also present, and pre-ordering the game will net you some bonuses for it.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an upcoming RPG developed by Level-5 in collaboration with the famous anime company, Studio Ghibli. The game follows a 13-year-old boy, Oliver, who enters the magical world of Ni no Kuni to bring his mother back from the dead. Oliver is accompanied by a fairy named Drippy, and possesses a book which allows him to use magic.

As expected of Studio Ghibli, the game has amazing visuals which fit perfectly with the fantastic world created by Level-5. The beautiful lands of Ni no Kuni are far from safe, however: Oliver will have to face many dangerous enemies. Luckily, there also are characters who will join him on his quest – up to a maximum party size of three. The battle mode is largely turn-based as is typical for JRPGs, but it is possible to move to avoid attacks and collect health orbs in real time.

Forza Horizon is the next installment in the well-established Xbox 360 racing game franchise. It is considered a spin-off from the main series, as this title is the first one to feature an open world where you can drive around and challenge other drivers. The game’s premise is as follows: you are at a fictional “Horizon” music festival in Colorado, and your goal is becoming the King of said festival. This can be achieved by winning races, performing stunts, completing challenges, and so on. Fitting with the setting, the game’s soundtrack includes music from several famous artists.

Far Cry 3 is an upcoming open-world FPS game from Ubisoft. Like the first game in the series, FC3 takes place on a tropical island. You play as Jason Brody, a tourist stranded on a remote island chain inhabited by violent (and often insane) locals. Your goal is to survive, find your friends, and escape the tropical hell.

In addition to the single-player campaign, Far Cry 3 features team-based multiplayer modes such as Domination and Firestorm. Like its predecessors, the game also offers a map editor for both PC and the consoles.

FIFA 13 is the next title in the popular soccer video game series from EA. The game brings improvements to the offensive AI, player impact engine, and the free kick system. First touch control feature introduces unpredictability when receiving a pass, and makes ball control more realistic. EA also promises more accurate 3D likenesses of the players in FIFA Soccer 13.
