Company of Heroes 2 is an upcoming RTS title developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Sega for Windows platform. The first game was well-received by gamers and critics, and included American and German sides. CoH 2 focuses on the Eastern Front instead, and adds a new faction: the Soviets and their Red Army.

New game features include more realistic unit line of sight, harsh weather conditions which affect infantry, and environmental destruction. This is possible thanks to Relic’s new proprietary Essence Engine 3.0, which utilizes DirectX 11.

Metro: Last Light is an upcoming first-person shooter game with survival horror elements. It is also a sequel to Metro 2033, which was released back in 2010. The game is developed by the same 4A Games studio, but has a different publisher this time: Deep Silver.

The game is based on a novel by a Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky, and is centered around survivors of a global nuclear war who take shelter in the Moscow Metro and form different factions.

The Battlefield series from DICE is continuing to evolve, with Battlefield 4 bringing photorealistic graphics, improved environmental destruction, dynamic weather effects, and better animations. This is made possible thanks to the upgraded Frostbite 3 engine and Destruction 4.0 feature, which will hopefully allow more structures to be demolished.

Like its predecessors, Battlefield 4 offers an intense single-player campaign in addition to its staple multiplayer modes.

Cities in Motion 2 is an upcoming public transport simulator for PC and Mac systems, developed by a Finnish studio Colossal Order. The game features realistic graphics, dynamic cities, day and night cycles, and adds new multiplayer game modes. Compared to its predecessor it also offers more vehicles and new gameplay elements like timetables and fare zones, which add more depth to the game.

Lost Planet 3 is an upcoming third-person shooter from the Lost Planet series by Capcom (although this latest installment is developed by Spark Unlimited instead). The game takes place years before the events in Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, and follows Jim Peyton, a miner working on E.D.N. III in order to earn money for his family back on Earth. Lost Planet 3 is said to be a story-driven game, and in this regard it resembles the first title in the series more than the second one.

Beyond: Two Souls is a PS3-exclusive psychological thriller game developed by a French studio Quantic Dream, the makers of Heavy Rain. The main character is Jodie Holmes (played by Ellen Page), a girl who can communicate with a mysterious entity known as Aiden. This ghostlike being assists Jodie throughout the game, protects her from harm, and grants her supernatural powers. These are of great interest to Nathan Dawkins (portrayed by Willem Dafoe), a government scientist investigating the paranormal.

SimCity is a reboot of the popular city builder series from Maxis. The game uses a new, powerful simulation engine, and gives the players more freedom with upgradable civic buildings and freeform roads. SimCity also adds city specializations such as Mining, Electronics, and Gambling, which can be mixed together. The game requires an online connection, and allows the players to trade goods in a global market and compete for the top positions on the leaderboards.
